About
Next Level Training was created to equip Ontarians with real masonry skills, inspired by a family legacy of building strong communities through hard work and opportunity.
Built for Ontario. Backed by Legacy.
Training the Next Generation of Masons. Rooted in Community. Focused on Opportunity.
Next Level Training is a hub developed in order to teach Ontarians of all stripes the skilled trade of masonry.
The essence of the training is built on the premise that there is and will continue to be a decline in Journeymen masonry experts in Ontario as some of the current experts retire. This fact coupled with the housing shortage in this province makes it certain that as the years go by there will not be enough masonry experts to build Ontario. The current provincial government has made it clear that building and building in the north is of the utmost priority.
Next Level Training has developed curriculum that will take beginners who are interested in masonry as a skilled trade and make them into intermediate apprentices ready to go onto any job site and function as a labourer or as a beginner brick and stone mason. The program was developed by the Lauritsen brothers and Group of 1 Media Solutions Inc. Not only do participants get hands on training in the craft of brick and stone masonry, they are also instructed in how to either get a job or create their own opportunities as entrepreneurs in Ontario. At the end of the program, all participants who graduate will also receive a stone and brick mason starter kit so they are able to work immediately upon graduation.
It is important for the Lauritsen brothers to develop this program for Ontarians because their own story is steeped in opportunity. Their father built a company with his bare hands and has employed 100s of people since 1986; giving them opportunities to earn a living and feed their families. Giving back to their community is important. So, the brothers developed Next Level Training with strategic partners and the government of Ontario to continue and grow the traditions their father bestowed on them; home, community, province, country!
Welcome to Next Level Training where your future in masonry as a craft has just begun!
